From these tenets flow a good life. A good life for our sheep and dogs and farms, and for our family, friends, customers, and fellow sheep farmers.

Four Hills Farm has been GAP 4 Animal Welfare Certified since March 2017.

G.A.P.’s Animal Welfare food labeling program guarantees that certified animals are raised without the use of antibiotics, added hormones, or animal by-products.  Level 4 indicates that the sheep are pasture-raised. Each farm in the FHF network is audited annually.

News & Events

We are pleased that the USDA has awarded Four Hills Farm a Local Food Promotion Program grant. With that support, we will work on the Expansion of Lamb Mid-Tier Value Chain by hiring an operations manager, a marketing rep, and a bookkeeper.

About us

Four Hills Farm is located on Troy Pike in Versailles, KY. We raise sheep and market fresh lamb year-round. The Katahdin sheep we raise are hardy and thrifty.

We call our Katahdin lamb “New American Lamb” because we believe they are a unique and up-coming breed offering many favorable attributes to the American lamb market. These sheep thrive on a forage based diet, lamb outside on their own, and, most importantly, produce an excellent gourmet quality meat. They are a hair sheep breed which means they do not have to be sheared.
